SAP ABAP Certification

Hi

I am new to sap abap. I am planning to write SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver exam, but I am little confuse about which version should I select.

There are three certification exam available for SAP ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.

SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (C_TAW12_70)

SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.02 (C_TAW12_71)

SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.31 (C_TAW12_731)

Can somebody explain me what are the major differences between these three exams and mainly NetWeaver 7.0 vs 7.02 vs 7.31 ?

Will there be any differences in certification materials ?

Hi Sokita,

Thanks for your response.there problem why I'm asking its because i wanted to write exam this year.My company its a SAP partner.i just wanted to go write exam only without appearing  for training.as they won't be able to fund for me a training.

Any website that could help me with the latest content?.

I'm studying using materials TAW10_1,TAW10_2,TAW10_3,TAW12_1,TAW12_2 .but materials are from 2005 i'm not sure if they still valid to study for net weaver  7.31.

Can anyone explain to me?

Hi Trevor,

You need to refer latest TAW10 and 12. Many features are updated into new manuals.

The one main difference  is that in Structure the screen is little different in 7.03 as shown below.

'SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with Netweaver 7.02' is a good enough book for you to clear the SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.31 (C_TAW12_731)

Hello Tapas

The basic difference between the 3 exams is that they cover different SAP NW versions. NW 7.02 is actually Enhansment Version 2 of SAP NW 7.0. There are no major difference between SAP NW 7.0 and 7.02. 7.02 has more features than 7.0. Either of the 2 can be done.

NW 7.3x is entirely different than NW 7.0. There are major architectural differences between the two and hence course material is also different. All further releases (such as 7.4 and above) are based on NW 7.3 technology. So, it is prudent to do certification on NW 7.3x.

Addition to tapan,

I guess SAP has removed C_TAW12_71, C_TAW12_71, so you can apply for latest exam C_TAW12_731. Find difference between these two certification exam at given links.
