Same framework but different rendering mode

Dear Community

I've faced an issue with rendering mode and tried a lot of stuff on our QAS system. Now after the testing I've changed back everything but it seems that i've forgot something. Because when I log in to my QAS portal and press F12 the document mode is "EDGE" and if i do so on my PRD portal the document mode is "QUIRKS"

I've already checked the "Master Rule Collection" and the Desktop for both systems but for me everything is identical.

Do you have an idea where I could have changed this?

Hi Robert,

Open the Framework Page's Browser Document Mode iView, for the Browser Document Mode iView property set it to IE=5, IE=EmulateIE7 .

Of course, IE=EDGE mode is preferable.

Hi Robert

From the above screenshot take the PCD path of the Framework page that is used and from Content Admin navigate to that path and open the framework page.

Refer the 2nd Point from KBA # 2016845 - Using Portal with Internet Explorer in Quirks or Standards as browser document mode, and check the value of Browser Document Mode Iview in it.

Once you go inside Ajax Framework Page, it will have two more framework pages inside it, open and it will also have Browser Document Mode Iview, check the value there as well.

After the above changes your issue should be resolved.
