SAC Dimension Coment Performance

Dear all

We use dimension comment with a relatively large planning model and have performance problems accordingly. Saving a new comment takes 28 seconds on average, deleting a new comment takes 26 seconds. It makes no difference whether we display all the data in the table or filter it for a single record.

The formula and model (the dimensions used are outlined in red):

Does anyone have any tips on how to improve the performance? For example, to delete all data point comments that we no longer require. As an admin, however, you can’t do this centrally for all comments, and we can’t realy do it manually because there are to much.

would suggest you create a ticket to SAP for checking.

If I were in your position: log an incident arguing the comment function is not performant enough. This is a cloud solution so it should be scalable. And you are not even using that many dimensions nor huge nr. of members

Currently there is no feature which helps to manage central management of comments (mass delete, export, edit etc.) There is an influence request (current status: under review) which you should upvote.
