Role based security at parent node in SAC

Hello Experts,

We have role based security enabled and want to provide access at the parent level (parent child hierarchy). When we are trying to select Hierarchy and give access at parent node, it does not allow to select the parent node but at flat presentation, it does allow to select the parent but then data cannot be seen in the templates. Role based security does not allow to select the parent node or hierarchy node?

Indeed, no hierarchies available in role security.

You can try using properties instead as workaround.
