Hello Gurus,

The client wants the RSPC transaction to be restricted to any kind of changes. Is this possible?

Even though the client is closed, the IT is able to make changes in production. Please help me out here.

Thanks

Simmi

Hi,

Yes it can be done . You will have to ask security team to get this done.

Hi Guys ,

Thanks for the Input. The Admin at our place needs info on how to do it. Please pass any docs or info if you have.

Thanks,

Hi,

Simplest way is to create a separate role and assign the authorization objects for RSPC changes to that role. Assign that role to the 3 user ids you want to allow making changes to the Process Chains.

For the other ids change the RSPC activites in the auth object to display only (3).

Hope that helps.

Hi Simmi,

Yes thats the default access that SAP provides. You can speak to your ADMIN to restrict the access. In our project we have restricted the access where we can execute the process chain through a set of 3 user ids only.

Hi Simmi:

Yes, thats definetly possible. not everyone can have a change access to RSPC. you can talk to your security team and ask them to grant only "display" access to particular users according to thier roles. i guess this is what you want.

Hope it helps
