requirements for adobe forms

Hai,

As I am new to adobe forms , i want to know the requirements need for adobe forms. I mean what software are needed for adobe forms.

At present i am working with ecc5.0 .

Points will be rewarded for the helpful answers.

1) Adobe LiveCycleDesigner7.0 is installed

2) Adobe Reader7.0.x is installed

3) SAP NetWeaverWeb AS Javacompatible with the DevStudiois installed

4) Internet Explorer(version 6)

5) The Adobe Document Servicesare deployed and configured on the SAP J2EE Engine.

Frontend: SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio with Adobe LiveCycle Designer (for Web Dynpro for Java development) and/or SAP GUI with Adobe LiveCycle Designer,

Active Component Framework (for filling interactive forms in a Web Dynpro application),

Adobe Reader 7.0.8 or higher (on the frontend PC).

Firstly thanks for Quick reply.But i have doubt whether the installation of Adobe Live Cycle Designer S/w is required for latest version of SAP(ecc 6.0) also.

Can u please explain me with versions

Yes, you need to work on ECC6.0

For form design you only seem to need Adobe Reader 7.0.8 or higher, the other components are for Web Dynpro development. So if you are not deploying interactive forms in Web Dynpro Adobe LiveCycle designer is not needed.

Actually, after a bit more checking I've found SAP note 962763 with more detail.

You do need Adobe LiveCycle Designer and can download the installer from SAP Service

Marketplace:

-> SAP NetWeaver

-> SAP NETWEAVER

-> SAP NETWEAVER 2004S

-> Installation and Upgrade

-> <Choose any OS and DB combination.>

-> Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1
