Dear SAP Support Team,
I am writing to request the official installation package of SAP GUI for Java for my macOS device, as I need to connect to my company's SAP system but do not have an SAP S-user account to download it from the SAP Support Portal.
My device configuration (key info):
- Device: MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon (M5)
- macOS Version: macOS Tahoe 26.3
- Java Runtime: Eclipse Adoptium Temurin 25.0.2 (ARM64)
Could you please provide a public and temporary download link for the compatible version of SAP GUI for Java (preferably the latest stable version such as 7.80) that supports Apple Silicon (M5) chips?
Thank you very much for your assistance!
Best regards,
Frank
Request clarification before answering.
The official SAP GUI for JAVA is here: https://www.sap.com/products/try-sap/trials-downloads.html?search=SAP%20GUI%20for%20Java
SAP GUI for Java provides native support for ARM architecture on macOS starting with version 7.80.
Look also into the SAP note: https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/3368441. To access this note, you do need an S-USER, but to download the software, you just need to create a account using your business email address.
