Regarding Special Characters

hai

im loading data from oracle tables by using DB connect.

im getting special characters in 'characteristic data' and in 'Description of characteristic'

1) Upto my experience, special characteristic

in 'characteristic values' effects the loading .

Is it correct that special characters in 'description

of characteristic' also effects loading the data.

pls tell me .....

2) I know T-code is RSKC .can i put only single character in RSKC or can i put whole value for a particular data into RSKC

1. no, it's not correct.

special characters not effect in loading text/description, see Eugene's weblog

2. as mentioned before, you can type in ALL_CAPITAL after call RSKC.

No, I don't think special characters in description affects the load.
