Hi experts,
when working with SAP Analytics Cloud on a BPC live connection, sometimes the following behavior occurs:
I have a BPC planning sequence which is triggered from a SAC story. The planning sequence contains multiple planning functions and filters. One of the filters contains a customer exit variable which reads a parameter from a backend table. The same variable is part of the query which is used for the user input.
When the SAC application is started, the CE variables in the planning filter are processed and are filled with values. The user will change the selection in the SAC story which leads to a change of the parameter in the backend table. The query (and the CE variable in the query) is reprocessed, reads the new value for the parameter from the backend table and displays the correct data. But then saving the user input, the planning functions throws an error due to missing reference data. When debugging, whe can see that the CE variable in the planning filter still contains the old parameter value and was not reprocessed on execution of the planning sequence.
When viewing the planning sequence in RSPLAN, we can see that the option "reprocess variables" is active. How do I manage to reprocess the CE variables in a planning filter everytime the sequence gets executed?
Thanks in advance,
Marius
