RAP - create child with IDENTIFICATION_REFERENCE

Hello Community,

I have a managed RAP application with 6 child entities. But I can't create the child entities that were specified as Identification_reference only. I can create the child entity specified as Lineitem_reference.

Example:

In this picture you can see that I can create the child in the section “Rollen” with the type #LINEITEM_REFERENCE. This is a 0..* association. Below there is a section “Kommentar” which has the type #IDENTIFICATION_REFERENCE, but is not editable for me. This entity has the association 0..1.

I hope it is not the case that you can only create a child entity via #LINEITEM_REFERENCE.

Hi Lars,Did you find out how to solve this...

So - to make the best out of this accidental comment - two learnings here: 

- one can't delete comments (?)
- pressing shift+enter does not add a newline but posts the comment

Hi Lars, did you find out how to solve this? We have the same problem situation here. For 1:1 cases a solution would be to add the fields of the child entity to the root entity table. Not nice 😕 Best regards Robert

Unfortunately I don't have a solution yet. For a use case like mine with only one field, I solved it with an action. The action opens a pop-up with which I can then fill the field. However, this assumes that there is already a UUID for this child.

Hi, unfortunately this is not the solution for the mentioned problem, but otherwise your link was very helpful for another problem we had. The answer to the problem here could be a determination.
