"Data source assignment not completed" - Excel Analysis

Hi.

When I open a workbook from the SAP Business Warehouse Platform in Excel Analysis the following issue occurs:

After logging into my local system, I select the workbook Channel Mix (technical name: /RAP/MPCHANNELMIXV2 )

I fill in the prompts window (BEx Query Designer) with the values available in the drop down menu.

When I click OK, no information is shown in the result area. There is only a text “Data Source Assignment not completed” in cell A1 (cross tab). By clicking on the text, an error message pops up with the following reasons.

• “An Exception occurred in one of the data sources. SAP BI Add-in has disconnected”
• “Nested Exception. See inner exception below for more details”

I currently have Excel Analysis Version 2.7.401.87606

Is the problem related to my version?
