Hello

We have several questions regarding CALM Process authoring:

    1. Can a step be assigned to a system? E.g. to know what system is specifically affected in said step.
    2. Can a swim lane be assigned to a SAP Business role e.g. Junior clerk .. This was possible using Signavio.
    3. Can a process step be assigned to a Fiori App ID?
    4. Are the Solution Scenarios under "Manage Scopes" available in other languages than English? We would need them in german.

Thanks for your time and help

Regards

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your questions regarding SAP Cloud ALM Process Authoring.

1. Can a step be assigned to a system?

Yes. Process Authoring supports the modeling of systems within a process flow, allowing you to document which system is involved in a specific process step.

Related solution components and technical objects can also be maintained to provide additional traceability.

2. Can a swim lane be assigned to an SAP Business Role (for example, Junior Clerk)?

Yes. Process Authoring supports role-based modeling and allows business roles to be represented within the process diagram. This can be used to document responsibilities such as "Junior Clerk", "Purchasing Manager", etc.

Please note that the role assignment capabilities are not identical to those available in SAP Signavio, but business roles can be modeled within the process flow.

3. Can a process step be assigned to a Fiori App ID?

Currently, SAP Cloud ALM does not provide a standard feature to directly assign a Fiori App ID to an individual process step.

As a workaround, customers typically maintain the Fiori App ID within the process step description, related documentation, or through associated configuration and library objects.

4. Are the Solution Scenarios in "Manage Scopes" available in German?

The SAP Best Practices process content delivered through Manage Scopes is currently provided primarily in English. German translations of the standard solution scenarios are generally not available out of the box.
