Process chain mail alert error...

hai experts...,

1. go to ALRTCATDEF

2. select classification "Process Chains"

3. click on display/change

4. double-click on "error in a process of a process chain"

5. click on "fixed recipients"

6. write in your username (you have to maintain your e-mail address in SU01 for that to work)

7. save

8. go to your process chain (rspc)

9. go into edit mode

10. from the menu, select Process chain -> attributes -> alerting

11. check "send alerts if errors occur"

after doing this ...and then am clicking the CHECK button...

am getting messages like...

(GREEN COLOUR)Messages within the subchain ZPC_MD_DAILY:

Message no. RSPC080

(YELLOW ) A type "Read PSA and Update Data Target" process has to follow process "Execute InfoPackage" var.ZPAK_D74SON66SKTLCTE5WA3WJ6MYD in the chain

Message no. RSMPC016

(YELLOW)A type "Read PSA and Update Data Target" process has to follow process "Execute InfoPackage" var.ZPAK_D74SP5S9D8SKJXLCYLZPHUI7P in the chain

Message no. RSMPC016

AM GETTING ABOVE 2 WARNINGS.... WHAT WILL BE THE PROBLEM....

HOW CAN I REMOVE THOSE WARNINGS...

Hi Anand,

The warning messages you have received are from activation of the process chain. They happen if you have used an infopackage that loads only to the PSA and have not added update to data targets process (in 3.5) or a DTP (in 7.0).

Just check your process chain to see if you have missed anything. If there are no changes to be made in the chain, you can ignore the messages

am in BI 7.0, how can i check whether DTP is involved in Process chains? please tell me this is the first support project am doing ...

Hello,

Click on your info pacakge Go to Scheduler there top can find the Process chain Maintenence if you click on the process chain Maintenence you will see all the details.
