Hi everybody,
I'm encountering a problem with the XML Forms Builder.
I have to edit all our existing XML-Forms. But I am no longer able to save the modified Forms.
The Forms Builder hangs on "Saving internall Form Model". I get no error message whatsoever. I can navigate through the menu when this happens, but cannot use any functions.
After this I have to close the Forms Builder and the Browser-window which opened it.
Has anybody had a similar experience? Or even better a solution for it?
We are running EP 2004s SPS14.
Best regards
Nicole Heinz

Hi Nicole,
In the Options of the XFBuilder you can increase the server timeout.
Furthermore you could check the Java VM parameters as indicated in this thread .
Please check if this solves your problem.

Robert

Hi Robert,
thanks for your fast answer.
I set the timeout to 300 (5 Minutes) and checked the settings of the Java Runtime.
On the system I use for testing its the following:
-Xmx768m
-Xms768m
-XX:PermSize=300m
-XX:MaxPermSize=300m
-XX:NewSize=300m
-XX:MaxNewSize=300m
On the other systems (where the problem also occurs) the -XmX-setting is 1024m, which should be enough.
The GUIModel-internal.xml is not bigger than 3MB.
Do you have further suggestions?
Regards,
Nicole
