Dear Sirs,

Could you please share, what is an average number of steps in your automation? How many automations do you use in one project and the maximum number of nested automations?

I have the one condition with six expressions leading to six automations. The IRPA cloud studio performance decreased significantly, so that I am waiting for almost 10minutes to perform one change.

Any hints?

Dear all,

Recommendation from Céline is to keep the number of conditions low. I have redesigned algorithm and I will use 3-4 conditions instead of one big with 12 options. Response of designer is back.

Hi Jan,

Good question!

From a maintenance point of view, I would recommend to avoid having more than 100 steps in an automation, and to leverage the modularity offered by SAP Intelligent RPA (and SAP Process Automation) to structure a bigger automation with sub-automation.

This modularity is good for bot maintenance: if you create a sub-automation for any different application involved in a multi-app automation then when you have to adapt your bot after the upgrade of one of the app you may adjust only the sub-automation related to this app, not the others.

I hand over to thierrygourdin and his Adoption Team for deeper explanations on performance.
