Hi guys,

ich have a problem to set the Parameter icm/ssl_config_<xx> in transaction RZ11. We get the message Change not possible (see the picture below):

We now have set it on OS Level inside the Default-/Instanceprofile. But we want to know why we are not able to set it via RZ11 because its seems to be an danymic editable Parameter? Maybe anyone can help. Thanks.

Hello Iklam,

Please set the parameter at RZ10 (or directly at the profile, at OS level) and restart SAP.

After that, try changing the parameter through RZ11.

I believe that it is not working right now because the parameter was not set at SAP startup time, so the SAP kernel did not create the parameter in its shared memory, since the parameter does not have any default value.

So, "technically speaking", you would not be trying to change the value of the parameter, but would be trying to set / create it dynamically.

Hi Alkan.

You have to change the parameter in the RZ10 transaction, RZ11 is displaying and if any parameter with dynam switchable then you can do the changes.

Yeah we know this, but Parameter icm/ssl_config_<xx> seems to be dynmically editable but we are not able to add/modify it in Transaction RZ11. Why?
