Output forecasted Data as Table (SAP Analytics Cloud)

Former Member

Hi all,

I'd like to output the data that SAP Analytics Cloud forecasted in the built-in 'predivtive forecast' as a table or something similar, not just as a chart.

Is that possible?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Hi you could create a model on top of your predictive model (first apply the predictive model) - and the create a story with a table build on your model

the table includes all the information you want exported, then export to csv

or use analysis for office to connect to your model (that is build on top of your applied model table)

is this something you where looking for?

Hi Rene, that's a good hint - but not everyone will have this option

Depending on whether they are deployed to the 3rd party data centres (i.e. Cloud Foundry on AWS deployment option), they will get the more advanced Smart Predict scenarios with the dataset concept.

However, that subscription type only came about since about September, and only in some regions.

Just adding my two cents on what Rene & Henry both rightfully mentioned. The reference SAP note related to Smart Predict availability can be found here https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2661746.

Chris - the only current way I see is to export the output to a CSV and upload that to SAP Analytics Cloud

I tried searching for an existing idea here: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/884 - something you may want to check

Hi Tammy, thanks for the quick response. Somehow, I can only download a CSV with the data I already uploaded which is excluding the forecasted data. Do you know how to do that?

You are right, Chris. I just noticed it doesn't export the forecast. I recommend entering it as a suggestion here: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/884 -
