Hey everyone,
while interacting with outlook in our remote desktop environment I was facing the following alert.

Translation: A program is trying to access your email address information in outlook. If this happens unexpectedly, click deny. Check if your antivirus program is up to date.
Click help for more information on email security and how to suppress this warning.
Since the settings to suppress this warning are only accessable by our system administrator so I captured the alert and wanted the bot to allow access by itself.
Capturing worked well, but I could not identify in which step of the process the alert occurs. Somehow this alert seems to pop up offside the cronological step order. For example putting it around the the step, where debugging stops it causes the alert either not to show up or the bot won't interact with it cause it restricts a previous step to take action.
Do you have ideas how to tackle this alert? Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Lars

Hi,
we investigate the issue with the outlook security pop-up. The reason for the pop-up are the security settings in the Outlook Trust Center. There should be an option that the user will be informed if an external program try to access Outlook AND the antivirus status is not valid.
The solution is to update the antivirus software on your computer and check the Trust Center if it shows that the status is okay.
If you use a Windows Server Version you have to change the security settings in Outlook as Windows Server does not provide the antivirus status to the Outlook Trust Center.

Peter

Hi Peter,
in our case we were working with the windows server version. The only issue is that the settings are managed by IT-Admins and it is sometimes very timeconsuming waiting for them to change security settings. It would be nice, not to be dependent on security settings.
Somehow our admin had problem to change the settings as well but, that probably is an issue of our own responsibility.
Best regards,
Lars
