Optimized View Mode with measure input control SAP Analytics Cloud

Dear all,

I have tried out the new functionality of enabling "optimized view mode. It worked well for the page but there is one functionality which is not working anymore:

The upper part of this image is a table with measures for ACT BUD etc...

The below part of this image is a chart per month.

Based on the measure selection in the upper part (Filter on data point selection) the below chart will change based on the selection. Meaning, if I click on Sales revenue in the upper part, then Sales revenue per month will be displayed. Unfortunately, after enabling optimized story view, this is not possible anymore in the view mode and there is no change, if I select any other measure there is no change within the below chart. Any Explanation?

Did you receive any kind of notification when you enabled the optimized view mode?

Hi Martijn,

not for this particular case. First I have received a notification saying that I have to enbable unrestricted drillling. After I enabled it for all widgets, there were no notification anymore for the optimized view mode. Maybe the above mentioned use case is not supported with opimized view mode?

It's strange because in the limitations the following is mentioned: Set Unrestricted Drilling to ON

Optimized View Mode Limitations

Perhaps you should raise an incident on the SAP Support Portal.
