Opening Stock Calculation

Hi All,

i have an issue with Opening Stock calculation on 0IC_C03 cube.

i am creating the RKF on 0TOTALSTCK to get the Opening stock. and i mentioned last value in Local calculation tab and restricted the variable with offset - 1.

variable entry is optional and single value with manual entry. my intenion is to get the previous month closing stock as the opening stock for the current month.

in this i am not getting any value. could you pls update me where i did the mistake.

I am also trying to do the same. IS it possible.It can be acheivable.

Try giving 'last value' of 0totstock as exceptional aggregation with 0calmonth as referenced characteristic..

Hi,

Create the variable on 0calmonth with offset value as -1which was on RKF for Non-cumulative key figure 0TOTSTOCK.Then you will get previous month closing stock as the opening stock for the current month why because 0TOTSTOCK is containing LAST VALUE with Inflow and Outflow values.
