OpenDocument parameter sInstance=Last does not return latest report instance

We try to access the latest instance of a report using OpenDocument by adding the parameter sInstance=Last to the URL. However, the latest instance is not displayed; instead, the previously saved instance is shown.

It was verified that the OpenDocument user has all the required permissions to view report instances and to access the latest instance.

We have SAP BO 4.2SP5

We’ve seen similar behavior in BO 4.2 where sInstance=Last doesn’t always resolve to the true latest instance, especially when scheduling or caching is involved. Worth checking if the latest instance is actually marked as “latest successful” in CMS.
