NWBC Roadmap

Hi,

I´m wondering whether  NWBC has a roadmap as we have for SAPGUI.

What is the expected maintenance window for each version? Is it bound to any other component ( as SAPGUI is bound to MS SDK )?

Hi Valdecir and all,

the road map for NWBC is integrated into the SAP User Interfaces Product Road Map, which can be found on the SAP Service Market Place (e.g. http://service.sap.com/findinnovation) under Cross topics. It is also published here on SCN by Michael Falk (unfortunately the SEARCH on SCN does not seem to work at the moment).

But the currently available version is a little outdated... (from 2012). We are currently working on a complete update which will be posted here and on the Service Marketplace prior to SAPPHIRE.

Hi Ingo,

Your answer is really helpful and I could have some insights. As this document is not up to date, I´ll wait for its update.

It would be really great if we have a note as we do with SAP GUI, where all customers can subscribe and be alerted whenever the note gets updated.

The notes you mentioned talk about what already exist. I´m looking for the future.

E.g: Until when will SAP support NWBC 4.0?

I need to create a plan for my customer for the next couple years and for SAPGUI we have:

What about NWBC??

Unfortunately, such note does not exist for Netweaver Business Client. Sorry.
