NWBC 4 -Empty Screen?

Hi,

we want to use NWBC 4.0 PL 8.

In the moment we work with the SAPGui transaktion NWBC --> all works fine!

But when we use the NWBC 4.0 we have the following problem.

a) Logon with NWBC 4 is possible (http://<Servername>:8000/sap/bc/nwbc/nwbc_launch)

We get the following screen like this

But when i try to push for example "Worklist->Overview Forwarding Order" , then nothing happens!

When i do the same in the left menue i get an empty screen like this

-----> when we do the same in sapgui with transaction NWBC all works!

NWBC HTML (started by transaction NWBC) and NWBC Desktop (the native client, started explicitly) share the same runtime but there are differences. See the Troubleshooting chapter of NWBC to figure out why NWBC Desktop is not working for you.

Concur with Samuli ... When you execute Tcode NWBC from your SAPGUI; you're actually running NWBC for HTML.

When you run the NWBC desktop (aka Windows), you are actually depending a lot on the Windows native functionality. In this case, as e.g, there's a heavy dependency on your SAPGUI for windows.

Another advice, in NWBC for desktop, try running a more common transaction (e.g. MM03, MM01 etc) to see whether it works.

NWBC Desktop uses also IE. I'm sure it's not the case here but technically it would be possible to launch a different browser in case of NWBC HTML. In that case the 2 couldn't be further from each other.

Hi,

yes i know this all. We use Netweaver 7.31 , SapGui 7.30 and NWBC 4 PL8.

NWBC for HTML works fine, but

NWBC for Desktop get the above error/empty screen after pushing an entry on the left Menue side.

Follow the troubleshooting instructions (the link I provided), you will find out why it doesn't work. If nothing else activating the trace and analyzing it will reveal the reason why it's not working.

Hi,

Problem is solved.

It occours of a conflict between SapGui and NBWC Version

With Sapgui 7.30 PL5 and NWBC 4.0 PL8 it works
