I recently found that the Notes field in ALM was lacking version control and baselining capability. 1 option I suggested to ensure we have the versions preserved is to download the Notes to Excel and save that as a pdf. However, on downloading to Excel some of the crucial information was missing in the downloaded file.
I am hoping to get some more clarity on this baselining and version control from your experience with Notes in ALM

Hi Avani,
I totally understand your point!
Regarding this, the "Notes" will be succeeded by the "documents" application which already exists. in 2024 a migration will allow you to move to documents if you used notes so far.
With documents we also plan versioning. here you already have a "last changed" information, but the history and everything you need will follow in future.
You can also add new requests for functionality towards SAP Cloud ALM in the customer influence tool. then other customers can vote for these request and we will make sure the most needed capabilities are provided soon.
