Hi All,
I wanted to configured the e-mail & fax. In order to do that communication method of the user needs to be changed. By default it is coming Remote E-mail and hence probably from sbwp it is showing the folowing error
'You do not have a sender address in the chosen communication method'
That is why I went to su01 and tried to change the communication method to E-Mail.
But It is not leting me to change.
The error is
'No data maintained for standard communication method for E-mail'
How to resolve it?? I need communication method as E-Mail??

Hi,
check Note 496819 - Changing the standard communication method to 'e-mail'
also check following
run SCOT -> view -> node -> double click on SMTP
under general information
check node in use,
under supported address type against internet click set under address area give *
