Navigating with a Bar Code Scanner

Hi All,

I have a problem with the bushbutton sequence, that needs to be followed as soon as one has scanned a bar code.

I did all the config in the IMG "Default Enter Buttons"; but for some reason the changes i made dont seem to take effect.

Has anyone came across a similar problem?

Its a Symbol scanner that i am using.

Symbol are very fine.

You can install software from the producer.

I apologise for my ignorance, but what is a "Data Wedge" and where do i find the softeware?

In simple terms, Data Wedge or (keyboard wedge) is a utility that would automatically populate an input field of an open allication with the output of a barcode scan.

It usually runs in the background. You should be able to obtain it from Symbol.
