Hi,

Can we have mutiple test coinfigurations as variants to a Test Configuration. I am just checking if we can create a test configuration which can act as a driver script to all the other test configurations which are relevant and selected for runs.

Regards,

Justin

You can try with version management of test configuration.

Hello Justin

In order to put test configurations together simply create a test catalog - transaction STWB_1.

Thanks Vinay,

Yes, i can use Test Workbench or Solution Manager to do the trick for me. But currently i am lookign at developing a framerwork where i can have some Driver script kind of mechanism. Can you guide me on how to get this list of test scripts within a test configuration. It woudl be really great.

Regards,

Justin

Hi ,

I dont see a use of making Test configs as variants , as we have test work bench where we can schedule all the needed test configs together...

You cant make a list of variants for test configs , but certainly for test scripts.

if you are interested i can tell you reply back

Hello,

Test configurations are created at the script level so for one test script there is exists only one test configuration and you can have multiple variants with the test configuration which can be selected at the run time and executed.

In order to perform the mass run , create test catalogue , select all the required test configuration in the test catalogue create test package and assign it to the test plan and the execution can be made from the test plan at mass.

Thanks & Best regards,
