Modify mail text in work item

Hi all.

I need to change a text from a workflow mail, but I don't know much about workflow.

I know in SWIA transaction PFTC I can acess the task. My example is about Purchasing Order Release:

In the mail I'm getting this:

We need changes this text:

But in PFTC transaction we only can see: 

And Description lab is empty.

My question is: How can I change the text:

Hi, I haven't worked with PO Release in a long time, but this is what I would do:

1) Copy this task to a custom task

2) Edit your custom task to include the text you want

3) Replace TS20000168 in your workflow template with your custom task, ensuring that all bindings are consistent.

4) If you are executing TS20000168 via a standard SAP workflow, repeat this process - ie: copy the standard template to a new custom template

Please bear in mind, a lot of SAP-delivered workflows and tasks are examples; it's fine (and often very necessary!) to copy the SAP templates and tasks to your own versions.

Hi. 

Sorry for the delay in answering. 

I have been able to fill the text in the task. Now my problem is: the mail is been sent four or five days after we created the purchasing order but we don't know how this mail is sent. 

Do you know anywhere in customizing or in the workflow where we could custom an automatic mail?

I would check the workflow log details (as well as ST22 and SM58). In the workflow log, you should be able to see if there were any exceptions which caused the delay in sending email. The same goes for ST22 and SM58.

I don't know if you are using the SAP delivered workflow template with this task, or if you have created a custom template.  I also do not know what your customizing of release strategies looks like.    Information like this could be helpful in solving your problem.
