Modify flavor. Same system; different client.

Hello everyone,

I have created and developed a screen persona flavor in system A with client X and I would now like to modify the same flavor in the same system A but with client Y. Is this possible? If so, what must I do to allow client Y to modify the flavor?

I need to modify the flavor with client Y because client X does not have the data required for me to view a screen I need to modify in the flavor.

When I attempt to modify the flavor in system A with client Y, I receive the following error:

hi emilianogcasas,

in order to Export: you need to open the desired flavor and then click on export.

in order to import, go to the tcode and click flavors in left side menu. and then click import.

Indeed, exporting and importing has changed the original system/client of the flavor to the ones I need; I can now modify the flavor with the correct client Y.

hi emilianogcasas,

You can try to export the zip of your screen flavor from wherever you want to copy. it will be downloaded to your local system, and then import that zip to your client where you want your flavor to be.

This you can do in /PERSONAS/ADMIN transaction

you can create a new flavor directly in client with data.

after getting error please check if there are authorizations missing in su53. Add missing roles and it should work. Flavolurs are specific to clients so any change in 1 will not impact other system ThanksRD

You could add parameter in url to make it client specific.

&sap-client=X& or &sap-client=y&

Also , when you generate the link from /personas/admin it pick that specific client only. Check url of your existing flavor. Client is only added in url when there are multiple clients. ex, development may have 2 client but quality have only one.

I can execute the transaction in the desired system/client and flavor without issue, with the client informed in the URL or not, but the problem is that I can't modify it.

With client Y, when I attempt to edit the flavor I get the following error :
