Merge Cell problem in Adobe forms

Hi Experts,

I am not able to merge the 2 rows in the table. But, I can merge the 2 columns. When I am planing to merge the 2 rows merge cell option is not visible.

Why?

How can I draw the below layout?

Hello,

You can merge cells horizontally, but not vertically.

Each row is actually a subform object and can't be merge the same way as a column.
