MDM SRM UI 500 Internal Server Error

Hi Experts,

I am unable to login MDM_SRM UI and below error i am getting.I am able to connect to server but repository login failed with default user "Master" and other users also.I also checked for transport configurations but that too failed.

I checked in MDM for users, they have necessary roles assigned.

Can anyone please advise,appreciate your quick response.

System Spec:MDM 7.1, SRM 7.0,SRM MDM Catalog 3.0

500 Internal Server Error

Root Cause

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Field with Code '' does not exist in the table 'MDMSRM_CATALOG_ITEMS (T1) '

at com.sap.mdm.internal.schema.TableSchemaImpl.getField(TableSchemaImpl.java:110)

at com.sap.mdm.internal.schema.RepositorySchemaImpl.getField(RepositorySchemaImpl.java:230)

at com.sap.mdm.internal.extension.schema.SessionRepositorySchema.getField(SessionRepositorySchema.java:178)

at com.sap.srm.mdm.Model.getFieldPropertiesofMainTable(Model.java:1122)

at com.sap.mdm.srmcat.uisearch.master.CustomConfiguration.loadConfiguration(CustomConfiguration.java:489)

Hi Sunil

I work with SRM-MDM Catalog, and I have some tips:

1 - English language should not be removed;

2 - Standard structure should not be changed;

3 - Field code should not be changed;

4 - Field name, in English, should not be changed.

You have tried create new repository in SAP MDM, using the standard archive provided by SAP?

Hi Thiago,

The thread also talks about similar issue.

I think this is a schema issue which can be resolved by rectifying by downloading schema from UI config manager and uploading the rectified one but I am not 100% sure on this.

Please share your thoughts/comments.

Hi Sunil,

Has your system gone a upgrade?

It seems this is due to a schema change that you are getting this error.

Kindly analyse the schema for the field mentioned in the error.

Hi Ravi,

Yes,system upgrading from SRM 5.0 to 7.0 with MDM Catalog from 2.0 to 3.0 at the development stage now.i tried for analysing the error but couldnot find solution.Can you please advise.
