MASTER DATA DTP LOAD TAKING MORE TIME

Hi Experts,

After the upgrade to SAP BI 7.4, the data loads to master data is taking more time. Especially the loads are taking time for 0MATERIAL and 0MAT_PLANT. We are using SAP 7.4 SP-level : 16. Could you please let me know the reason?

if i'm not mistaken, this is due to the fact that now the packages are handled in series instead of parallel. As a workaround, you can activate the semantic grouping (only master data key fields) in the dtp. this should get the option to run in parallel.

Hi Mario,

Thanks for the reply. I have made matnr in the DTP semantic grouping. I changed the parallel process to 8. Still it is taking 2 mins for 185 records. it is actually stuck at deriving PC logid step in SM37. Any thoughts?
