Lumira Bookmark "Error during script processing"

Hello,

we are on Lumira 2.2 SP0 Patch3.

In some Lumira applications we use the bookmark function.

We use the old script functions like

Bookmark.FragmentBookmark.saveBookmark(LAYOUT_CONTAINER, name, "");

to create a bookmark.

For one of our users the bookmark function shows the error

when the user wants to create a bookmark.

This user is the only one with this problem.

I assigned him already administrator rights for BI Platform.

But the error still occurs.

Does someone have an idea to solve this issue?

Hi @marcus_rehnen 

The error you are facing is usually caused by missing authorizations at the Bookmark folder level in the BI Launchpad or Central Management Console. I would suggest the following approach:

Log on to the CMC, navigate to Applications à SAP Lumira. Then right-click and Manage Folders. Find the Bookmark folder used by your application.

In Folder Properties à User Security, make sure the affected user has proper rights on this specific Bookmark folder.

This folder-level authorization is separate from general BI Platform admin rights and controls the ability to create and retrieve bookmarks. Without these permissions, the bookmark function will fail with an error during script processing

If your authorization settings are correct but the problem persists, clear the user's BI client cache and check the browser security settings.

Hello Chris, the solution was to execute the programm /UI2/INVALIDATE_CLIENT_CACHES for the specific user, to clear the cache. Thank you for your answer! Best regards, Marcus
