JCo Error: RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE

I was initially getting the following error in most of the applications:

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password Incorrect

I then changed the password to all caps. and number. The problem was relieved from the applications but the standard pages like the home page are displaying the same error.

Plz suggest something.

The password was changed and only numbers and caps characters were used

Hi,

If you have changed the password, then JCo connection would be fine but there are also places where you would have mapped r3 user to portal user via system alias. You may have to check them as well.

Hi Umang,

Please check your Jco destination user name and password (DEST _METADATA) and logon tickets for

(DEST_APPDATA).
