Which OS did you install BO Edge on?

Did you modify the user credentials that are used for starting the SIA?

Check the Windows event log for error messages. Do you see anything there elated to SIA?

Do you have enough free disk space on your machine?

Have you tried to reboot the machine?

Is there any detailed information in the Windows event log other that it could not start the service?

What other services are available in the Central Configuration Management utility? Are you able to start those?

What kind of repository DB do you use?

In the Central Configuration Management Utility, I have 3 services (apache tomcat, SIA and winhttp). I can to start all services except SIA.

I use mysql and I have connected to the database and everything is fine...

Hi Stratos!!!

The port assigned is 6400.

I have reinstalled several times and I have found this error:

"Now that there are servers other than OCA servers you have to figure out how to get the machines name"

Any idea?

Thanks in advance Stratos!!!

Change this to port 6410 and try again.

BTW the SIA should run on port 6410. Port 6400 is normally used by the CMS.

Please check if the db user is locked, if locked it might cause issues starting the SIA.
