Issue with SAP DB Server Startup – Development System

Hi SAP Team,

We are facing an issue with the SAP DB server. We are trying to start the database server, but some services are showing Yellow and Red status and are not starting successfully.

This is our Development (DEV) server.

Could you please check the issue and advise us on the required steps to start all the services successfully?

Please let us know if you need any logs or additional system details from our side.

Hi SaJan,

For this kind of issue, the start point should be the daemon trace, it looks like "daemon_<host_name>_<port_number>.<number>.trc".

In the trace file, you can search with the latest record containing "==== Starting" and check the trace entries followed-up, to check which services is facing the problem.

Samely, you can check the trace of Nameserveer and Indexserver to find the related error.

1. Check the overall disk space on the DB server.

2. Check the trace files to see if you can find any error messages.
