Hi Experts, I have Crystal Reports 2008 (version 12.6.0) version installed on the server. Product type is full. I would like to know whether this CR version is compatible with SQL Server 2016 version? I wanted to build few reports ?

Regards,

Nagendra.

Hi Nagendra,

Crystal Reports 2008 is older version which is not compatible with MS SQL Server 2016.

Also CR 2008 is no more maintained by SAP.

Refer PAM guide to check the compatibility :

Crystal 2008 will work with MS SQL Server Native Client 10, I'm not sure whether it will work with Native Client 11. You might be able to get it to work with SQL Server 2016 only if none of the new field types are used in the tables. As Omkar stated, it wouldn't be officially supported, but it might be possible to get it to work.
