I have a question about SAP's Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model.
1.
Is CAP open source? What is CAP’s license?
If you look at the following blog( https://blogs.sap.com/2023/10/02/open-sourcing-cap-how-to-learn-more-or-get-involved/) , it is confusing because it explains CAP as if it was released as open source.
But I can't find any specific licensing information for CAP (even on Capire).
2.
Is it possible to install and operate CAP in a non-BTP environment (SAP BTP CF / SAP KYMA etc.)?
This is because I believe that if it is open source, it should be able to be used in general-purpose API development as well.
Request clarification before answering.
There core parts of CAP are not Open Source but we're are open sourcing some of the peripherals here https://github.com/orgs/cap-js/repositories?type=all. But you might already have seen that as the repositories are linked from the mentioned blog article.
