Invalid program status\: Duplicate member created

Hi all,

I am getting the below error when running an Analysis for Excel report.

The odd thing is that the report gives the error ONLY for some specific selections, otherwise is working properly.

Moreover same version of the report in WEBI is working fine.

Someone has any clue about the issue?

Sorry but i am not getting. In webi the report works perfectly! the issue in on Analysis for excel not webi.

that function module BICS_CONS_CREATE_DATA_AREA is used for planning cababilities. As AfO is a planning tool it tries to find the module, just in case the user needs the functionality. WebI has no planning cababilities, so WebI does not need to look for it.

Hi Vivian.

I face the same issue when opening a BEx query from AO. Did you find a solution for the BICS_CONS_CREATE_DATA_AREA not found dump?

This FM does not exist in my BW system.

Hi all,

I fixed this by uninstalling AO from my computer.

Then I deleted folder in C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis.

I reinstalled again.

It seems something related with the AO cache when you connect to different systems.

Hi Thierry.

Delete all contents in folder:

C:\Users\<your_user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis\cache

You should find there a file with your system ID, something like CP2.cache. Delete this file and restart AO. I realized you do not have to uninstall the application.

The problem is : I download a Analysis file  (ok) but when i try to refresh it (after close Analysis) i have got the issue.

Moreover of what rights are you talking about? the report is causing issue only on 1 month (january) for 1 company code and ONLY on analysis for excel. If i run same report with same selection criterias on webi the report runs succesfully.

the reason for that is very easy,

that RFC module is needed for planning functions and WebI is not able to plan...

you can check with transaction SE37 if a module is available

says that the function module BICS_CONS_CREATE_DATA_AREA is not available.

I guess the function module is available, that means your user has a security problem.

Seems that your user is not allowed to access that function module.

Can you please check if

a) the module is available

b) the user has sufficient rights

Yes there is a hierarchy on the result set. But the report is working fine using Bex Analyser and webi.

Is failing only on Analysis for excel. Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue?

There is a known/common disconnection error with Analysis Office 1.4 SP5

Could you update to SP6 and try again and see if the issue still happens?
