Invalid character

Hello

I upload 0MATERIAL and have plenty of errors like :

Record XXXX 'Value XXXXXXX for sharacteristic 0STD_DESCR' contains invalid characters.

I open PSA table , select whole 0STD_DESCR (not only invalid character) , copy-paste into list of permitted characters (tran RSKC). But it does help and errors appears again at the same record.

What do you reccomend to do?

Some even you maintain the char in RSKC still it will give error..try to maintain the char at Source sytem itself..else if this is frequent problem write a routine to replace or del that special char..

Hi,

Check if any space is there at the start. Remove the space and then try to load the data.

Also put conversion routine for this characteristic in the transfer rules.

Hi,

check whether you data consists any small absolutes, if you are having, just check small case letter in the info object maintenance screen.

Hi,

There may be small case letters for that characteristic.

Go to that infoobject> change> check the box small letters. By this system allows small case letters for it.
