Dear Mister or Madam,
I am currently migrating an Wonderware InTouch application from a old version (v9.5 working in Windows XP) to new version (version 2020R2 P1 working in Windows 10).The application is in 32 bit.
This program uses an ActiveX CrystalReportViewer.ReportViewer #CRViewer and the previous software used on windows XP is Crystal reports XI.NET Server.
I install SAP Crystal Reports 2016 Viewer but it does not work. The new application InTouch does not recognize the ActiveX CrystalReportViewer and when I insert a new one, the application collapses…
The function used are:
#CRViewer1.ShowReport()
And the parameters of the function are well commented in the program. (DSN, Database name, user, password, printername, etc.)
Can you give me advice on this topic to be sure that I am using the good version of software and the correct software?
Does the parameters of the function change in the “new” ActiveX?
I am also in contact with Wonderware InTouch to solve the issue but for the moment they do not give me solution to this issue.
Thanks for any advice,
Best regards,
