Intermittent 504 Gate timeout errors in SAP APIM.

Hi SAP,

We are facing intermittent 504 gateway timeout error from SAP APIM. We have set timeout value at target endpoint as 300sec and SAP APIM portal timeout is set for default 57sec, yet it is failing within 30sec timeout & sender system receive 504 timeout error.

There is a weird behavior we are seeing for these failed request which is below.

we can see request is hitting the SAP APIM but none of the policies are executing nether we are seeing any error in the request flow.

Where as similar request we are sending for success as well where the APIM is properly responding.

What could be the reason here for this API Proxy to behave in different way for similar request.
