Hi Nick,
If you click on Preference in once you log in to Infoview, you can select "My Infoview" and then edit your home page with templates, web pages, links etc. This applies to just your home page, but I believe you can save it and then others can use it as well.
There is more customization you can do here, or with the JDK I believe. I haven't played with it that much, but I am sure you can find more information on this within this forum, or in the SAP BO documentation.
