Import data Error: Import to model ended unexpectedly. Error code: 1020

Hi Experts,

I am trying to upload file in SAC and I keep getting the attached error. My ID has Planning Professional privileges and EDIT access at folder level. But I get the same error. It seems it is because of missing privileges but could you please help if you came across a similar challenge?

Hello Raj,

I just faced a very similar issue. Privileges are not the Bottleneck I am pretty sure.

The Import was successful after I double checked the Data Types of the Import Columns of the Data Source.

The Key I think is to correctly define the Data Types, which means all Attribute Columns (IDs, Descriptions...) should be of Type String, while all Measure Columns should be of Type Number, also correct Data Type for the Date etc.

You might want to take another look at that.
