IDT Planned support for Azure SQL Database ?

Hi,

Our organization is planning to move all our DWH stuff towards cloud, using Azure SQL Database MI -Managed Instance- (Paas) instead of SQL Server on top of Azure VM. Our current SAP BO Platform is on 4.2 SP7 Release and should be able to report on it using UNX universes as it is currenly doing.

I have been checking the PAM document regarding supported semantic layer data sources and the only supported Azure PaaS DB is

Azure SQL DataWarehouse

I don't see Azure SQL Database neither Azure SQL Database MI on this list.

KBA 1919334 confirms same statement.

My question is: Does it exist any way to know if Azure SQL Database MI will be supported on UNX on short term incoming releases of SAP BO (e.g: 4.3 SP01 ?)
