How We Develop the IoT Based Fiori Application

HI All.

I am going to Develop the Temperature Sensor Based FIori Application.from the fiori perspective i will use webide and i will use IoT Services in IoT Cockpit ,

i have question it is mandatory for SAP HANA Cloud DB & XS Odata or else we can use on primise HANA system & Normal OData Services we will use ?
