How to start using BOBJ

Hi,

I'm BI consultant by profession but have no idea of Business Objects. We have a requirement to design dashborads based on qeries. Kindly help me to Learn BO. Any kind of link or book or study material will be highly appriciable.

The SAP BusinessObjects portfolio has many different ways to build dashboard (you can build dashboard with Explorer or Crystal report for example). But as of right now, the best tool in the portfolio is Xcelsius.

If you have access to the SAP Service Marketplace, you can download all the documentation. However, these documentation do not provide a whole lot of details. They are meant to be used as a reference. Since you have no idea of BusinessObjects, I suggest you to take some instructor-led training classes to get started. You can go to the http://www.sap.com/services/education/index.epx to search for the training partners.
