How to replicate ODP datasource

Hi,

I have BW 7.52 on HANA and ECC 6.08 as backend system (not HANA).

I am new at BW on HANA and I am used to BW in previous releases. Two simple questions based on the following example:

In ECC I have the application components hierarchy and in SAPR/3->SD I have datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM

I have created source system for ECC in BW as ODP Source System.

2LIS_11_VAITM is active and exposed (I have seen in RODPS_OS_EXPOSE)

I have replicated metadata tree in BW for the ODS source system ECC, but I see a set of datasources that are not present in my hierarchy of application components in ECC and, moreover, datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM does not appear on BW (still I have replicated datasources).

So, how can I replicate datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM in BW? How can I see the application component tree from ECC in BW? Where can I see in SAP ECC the datasources that I can see in BW for the ODS source system (in transaction SBIW I cannot see)?

Hi Pedro,

i hope your data source was active and ready for replicate.

in BW, use Tx - RSDS and choose menu and replicate it by passing source system and data source name.
