How to read data from Excel files using SAP data services

Hi,

Is there document on how to read data from spreadsheet using data services? I need to read certain rows and columns in a sheet and cannot find instruction on how. I know IBM data stage can do this.

Hi Lina,

Here's a pretty good blog to get started on how to import from an Excel file.

Once you are able to read the excel, you can then filter according to your needs.

Hi Xu,

You need to have Microsoft office 64 bit install on your client system. Then only this will work. If this condition is met , you can create Excel Workbook type file format as shown below.
