Hi,

I want to know how to complete a workflow in my business workplace.

Here is my problem :

When i uncheck the "advance with dialog" box (SWDD, activity, details tab), i'm not able to complete my workflow when i test it (in the worflow log).

thanks for you help.

Hello,

The workflow should complete itself when it gets to the last step. Check the workflow log to see what it's waiting for.

First of all, thank you very much.

I know that the worflow should complete itself at the last step. The worflow complete itself when i check the "advance with dialog" box, but not anymore when i uncheck it.

The only difference in the worflow log between the two tests is that my worflow is still in process, all my Work Item are completed. I just don't know how to finish the worflow...

I've tried with a very simple workflow, with just one activity, but the problem is the same...

thanks for you help

Hello,

Interesting! Please be sure to report here what solved the problem. I'm sure a solution will be found.

A very good idea to simplify it to a one-step workflow. What sort of activity step is it? What does it call?

Does this happen as well when you use a Decision step?

The usual: do SWU_OBUF, check workflow log for errors, check ST22 for short dumps, SU53 for authorization problems,

SWU3 to make sure all is well with the workflow system (jobs running etc).

thanks for supporting!

My activity is a normal activity(nothing special, no deadline, expression(initiator), nobody excluded, myself as the agent assignation). My task is a simple task with the business object BUS1001001 saved as a local object, but the problem is the same with the other business object (absence form, independant requirement, synp_form...).

Something wrong happens when i try to test my workflow with a Decision : it says : Unable to read the RFC destination.

I've already got this error message when i tried to send e-mail with the worflow...

an idea?

Thanks.

I'll see what can i do with the Administrator.

Thanks for the tips, keep you in touch.
